Candle Care
When lighting your Esmé Aromatics candle for the first time make sure to burn until the wax melts across the entire surface. This usually takes between 2-4 hours. This prevents tunneling and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle.
Trim wick to 1/4” before each burn to promote an even burn, steady flame and limit sooting/mushrooming of the wick.
To preserve the fragrance do not burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time.
Never allow your candle to burn all the way down, always leave at least 1/2” of non-molten wax at the bottom.
Warning, please take the following precautions when burning your candle:
Always remove packaging before burning. Burn on a safe and proper surface. Keep wax pool free of debris and stop burning when 1/2” of unmelted wax remains. Trim the wick to 1/4” each time before the candle is lit. Avoid drafty areas.
Keep away from flammable items.
Keep away from children and pets.
Always burn within sight
